BAGALKOT: A 38-year-old lawyer, who had been missing, was found brutally murdered, which his head and hands smashed with stones.
Girish Kadannavar, who was practicising at the Bilagi taluk court, had gone missing from his house at Tummarahatti village on October 15. His decomposed body was found atop the Vari Mallaiahnagudi Hill near the village three days later.
The motive for the murder is, however, not yet known. The Bilagi police visited the spot and taken up further investigation.
