RAMANAGARA: Passengers of a KSRTC bus running between Bengaluru and Huliyurdurga had a narrow escape after it rammed into an electricity pole as the steering rod got cut, on Friday morning.
A part of the pole along with the power cables fell on the bus, but the passengers had a lucky escape as there was not power supply at that time. The incident occurred near Bachenahalli in Magadi taluk when the bus was plying on that route.
Some of the bus passengers sustained minor injuries in the accident. The Magadi police have registered a case.
