Karnataka recalls contributions of late Mysuru king Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar

Sri Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar, the last king of the Wadiyar dynasty of the erstwhile state of Mysore, was born on July 18, 1919 at the Mysore Palace in Mysuru.

He died on September 23, 1974 at the Bangalore Palace in Bengaluru at the age of just 55 years.

Jayachamarajedra Wadiyar was a scholar and a lyricist, besides a good administrator and a great human.
