RAMANAGARA: A private school near Kaggalipura in Bangalore South taluk received an bomb threat email on Tuesday morning. However, it turned out to be a hoax.
The email, sent to Edify School from the ID [email protected], claimed, “I have placed explosive devices inside of your building. They will explode in the following hours. This isn’t a threat, you have a few hours to disarm the bomb or else the blood of innocent people inside the building will be on your hands. The groups call, “Court”, is behind this massacre”.
The school authorities immediately informed the Kaggalipura police and a search of the entire premises was carried out by the bomb disposal and sniffer dog squads. The threat was later declared a hoax.
