SHIVAMOGGA: The popular tourist destination, Jog Falls, will remain closed for tourists on May 10, the day of voting for the Assembly election.
Since there will be a holiday on May 10, many people tend to head out for a holiday. To discourage visitors, the Jog Management Authority has decided to bar entry for visitors on that day.
The authorities have already put up a notice at Jog Falls regarding the entry ban on May 10 and hope the move will increase voter participation.
