JD(S) leader offers Rs 50,000 to villagers, promises more in viral video

CHAMARAJNAGAR: Ahead of the Karnataka Assembly elections, all major parties are involved in luring voters through different means.

Recently, JDS leader Hanur Manjesh was seen offering money to villagers at a meeting in a video that has now gone viral.

In the video, the JDS leader can be seen appealing to voters to cast vote for Manjunath, the party’s aspirant from Hanur constituency, and to ensure his win.

He can be heard saying, “Now we have given Rs 50,000 and more money will come in the coming days”. He also promises necessary infrastructure like houses, roads, etc. The video of the leader luring the villagers of Kaudalli has since gone viral on social media platforms.
