HUBBALLI: The three suspected ISIS terrorists who were arrested by the Delhi police on Monday reportedly underwent training in Hubballi and Dharwad, apart from the Western Ghats. The Hubballi-Dharwad police are now on high alert following the reported disclosure by their Delhi counterparts.

The Delhi Police on Monday arrested Shahnawaz Alam alias Abdullah, Mohammad Rizwan Ashraf and Mohammad Arshad Warsi for suspected ISIS links.

Speaking to reporters, Police Commissioner Renuka Sukumar said, “We are in touch with the Delhi police at the senior level after we saw about the arrest on television. But there is no official information about where the terror suspects underwent training or who they are. The Delhi police have not shared any such information with us”.

Further, she said there was no specific place mentioned and added that yet they were coordinating with the Delhi police at the senior level. “As a precautionary measure, we are on alert. We have got no official information from them so far, but we are collecting intelligence”, she added.
