The farmer Ganesh was mauled to death by a tiger.

MYSURU: A farmer, who had taken his cattle out for grazing, was killed reportedly by a tiger in the Muddanahalli range of the Nagarahole tiger reserve.

Forest and police officials at the spot where the farmer’s body was found.

Ganesh (38) of Uduvepura had taken his cattle for grazing, but later in the day, only the cattle returned home. When a search was launched for Ganesh, his body was found in the buffer zone of the Muddanahalli range forest.

Forest and police officials visited the spot where the mauled body was found and shifted it to hospital for autopsy. A case has been registered in this connection.
