BENGALURU: A home-alone woman was murdered by strangulation at Ganga Block in Sai Shakti Layout of Bettadasanapura in Electronics City police limits on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Leelam (30).
Her husband works as a contractor with a hardware store. The murder came to light when the couple’s children returned home from school in the afternoon. The woman was found lying motionless in the living room.
Police said nothing was missing from the house and it is suspected that some known person(s) may have committed the murder. The Electronics City police visited the spot and have taken up further investigation.
