BENGALURU: A history-sheeter was arrested for attacking two police personnel who were on night beat, with a machete on Wednesday. The accused is Afrid Khan, who was released from jail recently.
Vijay Kumar and Shivaprasad, attached to Chamarajpet police station, who were on night beat on Wednesday, flagged down Afrid to question him. But Afrid suddenly pulled out a machete and tried to attack the policemen.
He has since been arrested and a case registered against him at the Chamarajpet police station. Afrid has over five cases registered against him at different police stations.
