The group of Hescom staffers and doctors were seen partying with alcohol at a restricted waterfall.

BELAGAVI: Some Hescom staffers and doctors entered a restricted waterfall in a forest area and were seen partying and consuming alcohol. They even prepared food with a portable LPG cylinder at the spot.

The group of Hescom staffers and private and government doctors entered the Batawade Falls near Jamboti in Khanapur taluk in an official vehicle belonging to Hescom.

The group even prepared food and had used an official vehicle to enter the waterfall.

Public entry to the waterfall has been restricted by the deputy commissioner and an order to this effect was issued on July 26.

The police have set up a checkpost near Jamboti to prevent illegal entry, but the group managed to slip through using a Hescom vehicle, it is said.
