BENGALURU: A herd of four elephants were spotted at Podur near Hosur, causing anxiety among locals. The Forest Department officials were making efforts to drive them back into the forest.
The herd was directed back to the Sanamavu forest in the watch tower area through the Rayakottai road past Hosur.
Four days ago, a lone tusker had killed two women and a team has been formed to capture it. The sighting of the herd of four elephants has only heightened anxiety among local residents.
