GADAG: Some girl students of Class 7 at the Government Higher Primary School at Nagavi in the district were made to clean the toilet for allegedly skipping classes on the instructions of their teacher.
Apparently, the teacher gets students of Classes 6 and 7 to clean the school toilet regularly. “If we do not do as told, the teacher will hit us”, the girls are reported to have said.
The cooking assistant at the school has taken videos and photographs of the students being forced to clean the toilets. On coming to know of this, the teachers and officials have taken her to task, it is learnt.
