Gangavathi police raid illegal slaughterhouse, arrest one

KOPPAL: The Gangavathi police raided an illegal cow slaughterhouse at Anegondi village in the taluk on Saturday night and arrested one person for illegally selling meat.

Ganagavathi police raided a slaughterhouse.

The police conducted the raid based on a complaint from Hindu Jagarana Vedike activists. The arrested has been identified as Mukhtiyar, who was selling beef illegally at the slaughterhouse.
