BENGALURU: The trailer of late actor Puneeth Rajkumar’s ‘Gandhada Gudi’ was released on October 9 by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar at Nartaki Theatre.
The two-minute trailer is about exploring nature along with director Amogavarsha. They travel to an island in Karnataka, and together they talk about the ecosystem.The movie is a docu-drama and also the actor’s dream project. It is all set for a grand release on October 28. The late actor’s fans were overjoyed and emotional after the trailer’s release.
Following the trailer release, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar tweeted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying, “Namaste @narendramodi, Today is an emotional day for us as we are releasing the trailer of #GandhadaGudi, a project close to Appu’s heart. Appu always cherished the interactions with you & would have loved to share with you in person.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi replied to her and wrote, “Appu lives in the hearts of millions around the world. He was brilliance personified, full of energy and blessed with unparalleled talent. #GandhadaGudi is a tribute to Mother Nature, Karnataka’s natural beauty and environmental conservation. My best wishes for this endeavour.”

The Gandhada Gudi pre-release event is to be held at the Palace grounds on October 21. A special invitation has been prepared for the event, and artists from Sandalwood and fans will be present.
The actor’s close friends watched the Gandadha Gudi trailer even as they stood at the theatre. Directors Pawan Kumar, Prashant Neel, producer Vijay Kirgandur and famous Malayalam actors Fahadh Faasil and National Award-winning actor Aparna Balamurali watched the trailer at the Hombale Films office.
