HASSAN: The wife of late BJP B B Shivappa passed away on Monday at their residence in Kumbarahalli village in Sakleshpur taluk.
Sushilamma (90), the wife of B B Shivappa, had played a key role in organising the BJP at the grassroots level in Karnataka. She was suffering from age-related illness.
On September 19, former chief minister B S Yediyurappa had visited Sushilamma at her house and inquired about her health. On September 21, BJP national general secretary C T Ravi and state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel too had inquired about her health.
