BENGALURU: Five people, including women, were killed and more than 10 injured after fire broke out at a firecracker godown at Vetriyooru near Tirumanur in Tamil Nadu’s Ariyalur district on Monday.
The godown belongs to one Rajendran and the fire broke out accidentally in the morning. The injured were shifted to the Ariyalur medical college and hospital.
The fire services personnel had a tough time putting out the blaze the Tirumanur police visited the spot.
