BIDAR: A father-daughter duo in the Indian Air Force have created history by flying a fighter jet trainer together at the Bidar air base. Air Commodore Sanjay Sharma and his daughter Flying Officer Ananya Sharma flew a Hawk-132 trainer aircraft.
Ananya also has another feather in her cap. She has completed her course in flying fighter jets and is the first woman trainer in the IAF. By flying with her father, the duo have now created a new record in the IAF.
