MANGALURU: A showroom of Okinawa electric scooters at Naguri here was completely gutted after a fire broke out. It is suspected that the fire was caused by a short-circuit. Fire tenders were called in to douse the flames. The showroom staff had kept scooter batteries for charging overnight, and this may have caused a short-circuit, it is said.
