CHIKKAMAGALUR: Some miscreants, who in an inebriated state, blocked a government bus in the middle of the road at midnight and took selfies near Dantaramakki Circle in Chikkamagaluru city. Passengers were alarmed due to the rowdyism of the intoxicated miscreants.
Around 12 am on Friday, a government bus coming from Kadur to Chikkamagaluru was blocked by people who came in an auto near Tender Chicken, close to Dantaramakki Circle in the city. The miscreants parked their auto in the middle of the road, obstructed the bus, and behaved arrogantly with the driver.
Despite the bus driver’s pleas, the drunkards ignored him, shouted, stood in front of the bus, and indulged in perverse behaviour by taking selfies. Seeing this misconduct by the miscreants, passengers in the bus were terrified, and some recorded the act on their mobile phones.
Locals have expressed outrage and demanded strict action against those who obstructed public commuters and government vehicles and engaged in hooliganism. The incident occurred under Chikkamagaluru city police station limits.
