SHIVAMOGGA: A nine-year-old girl died after a noose tightened while she was playing on a hammock has occurred in Lakkinakoppa village. The deceased was identified as Pranamya from Vidyanagar.
The girl died while playing on a hammock made with a dhoti after closing the room door. Pranamya had gone to her aunt’s house in Lakkinakoppa village for summer vacation. While playing on a hammock after shutting the room door, the noose tightened, and Pranamya died of suffocation.
The incident took place three days ago, but came to light late on Friday. A case has been registered at Tunga Nagar police station.
