Disgraced ADGP Amrit Paul bought huge properties around Bengaluru in father’s name

BENGALURU: Disgraced IPS officer Amrit Paul amassed huge properties around Bengaluru in the name of his father Netaram Bansal, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), which is probing the PSI recruitment scam has found.

Amrit Paul has a farmhouse on a 4-acre land (Survey No. 247) at Hosahudya village in Nandi hobli in Chikkaballapur taluk. Later on, he purchased 8 acres of land adjacent to his farmhouse.

At Nellappanahalli village in Sidlaghatta taluk, he has 8 acres and 29 guntas of land in two parcels of land 4 acres and 39 guntas and 3 acres and 30 guntas.

The ADGP has mostly acquired properties in the name of his father. In Haryana too, there are two houses and land in the name of Netaram Bansal. The CID police are now going through his bank and property details.
