CHIKKAMAGALUR: Sandalwood actor Darshan, who has been arrested in a murder case, now finds himself embroiled in another controversy after taking private vehicles into restricted forest areas. Incidentally, Darshan is the wildlife ambassador for the state Forest Department.
Darshan allegedly took private vehicles into forest areas in Muthodi and Bhadra reserve forest, entered ecologically sensitive locations and feasted on meat with the forest staff. Private vehicles are not allowed into forest areas. Several pictures of him with the forest staff have now gone viral.
The Forest Department staff of Chikkamagalur division have also come under fire for allowing the actor to take private vehicles inside forest areas and for ‘partying’ with him and his friends.
