BENGALURU: A city court has extended the judicial custody of actor Darshan and his gang, accused in the brutal murder case of Renukaswamy of Chitradurga, until August 14.

All the accused in the case were produced before the 24th ACMM Court through video conference. Thirteen of them were produced before the judge from Parappana Agrahara Central Prison jail and four from Tumakuru jail.

Darshan, Pavithra Gowda, Pavan, Pradeep, Vinay, Deepak, and 17 others have been arrested in the case. The judge extended their judicial custody as the SIT officials asked to extend their judicial custody again by filing a remand copy before him.

The Kamakshipalaya police arrested Darshan on June 11 from a hotel in Mysuru in connection with the murder of Renukaswamy. Renukaswamy was murdered for posting obscene texts about Pavitra Gowda on social media.
