BENGALURU: After Namma Metro trains and BMTC buses, the craze of shooting social media reels has started in KSRTC buses too. In a recent incident, a youth was filmed trying to pull out the gear lever of a KSRTC bus after the driver had disembarked. The video is now doing the rounds on social media.

In the video, the youth, going by the social media handle Prasad_Jacky, can be seen mocking the driver when he is shifting gears saying that the driver was trying to ‘pull out’ the gear stick, but it would not come off. However, it is not known where or on which bus the youth shot the video.

When the bus stops and the driver gets off, the youth jumps over to the driver’s cabin, sits on the engine compartment and can be seen trying to ‘pull out’ the gear stick. When he fails, he leaves the bus.

The video drew much criticism online with several suggesting that the youth should be arrested before any accident occurs.
