BELAGAVI: A couple had a lucky escape after the car they were travelling in fell into a stream after the driver lost control at Ankalagi village in Gokak taluk on Friday.
The car was on its way from Belagavi to Dhoopadala village when it fell into a stream while crossing a bridge.
The couple Siddappa Konnur and his wife Seema were rescued by locals. The car was later lifted from the water with the help of a crane. The incident occurred in Ankalagi police limits.
