RAMANAGARA: A couple died after their two-wheeler rammed into a truck which had broken down and was parked by the side of the 10-lane expressway between Bengaluru and Mysuru on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred near Kempanahalli Gate close to Bidadi and the deceased were identified as Sanaullah Baig (65) and his wife Noor Jahan (60). The couple had visited Ramanagara for a function and were returning home when their scooter rammed into the truck.
The truck, which had broked down, did not have its indicators on nor were there any reflectors to warn vehicle users. The Bidadi police have registered a case in this regard.
