Congress workers engage in scuffle during meeting at KPCC office

BENGALURU: Pandemonium prevailed at the KPCC office on Queen’s Road here when Congress workers belonging to three factions got into a scuffle during a meeting to discuss probables from the Rajajinagar constituency, on Saturday.

Senior Congress leader Ramalinga Reddy was chairing a meeting of party workers from Rajajinagar constituency when a scuffle broke out. The meeting was called to discuss probables for the 2023 Assembly polls from that constituency.

There was pushing and shoving between three groups during the meeting.

Three factions supporting former mayor Padmavati, former depuyt mayor Puttaraju and Mahohar got engaged in pushing, shoving and fisticuffs during the meeting. A reporter belonging to a private TV channel also got hurt in the melee.
