MYSURU: Days after a tiger which responsible for the death of a 50-year-old woman was captured in the Hediyala range of Bandipur Tiger Reserve, another tiger was spotted near Chikka Kanya village in Mysuru taluk.

Movements of the tiger around Sindhuvalli, Byathahalli, Chikka Kanya and Dodda Kanya have been captured on CCTV camera. The Forest Department officials are studying the footage to track its movements and have planned to set up a cage to trap the wild cat.

The tiger was spotted on Wednesday evening too at a different location.

Last week, a 10-year-old male tiger had killed a 50-year-old woman when she was grazing cattle in the Balluru Hundi area of the Bandipur tiger reserve. The tiger was successfully captured earlier this week and relocated to the Koorgalli rehabilitation centre.

According to villagers the same tiger had earlier attacked a 70 year old man.
