TUMAKURU: With campaigning on in full swing for the upcoming Lok Sabha election, an old video of Congress candidate Muddahanume Gowda singing praise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is now going viral in the district.
Muddahanume Gowda, who was previously a BJP MP, recently switched back to the Congress. A video of him hailing the PM during the campaigning for the last Assembly election is now doing the rounds on social media.
In the video, Muddahanume Gowda is seen with former BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel and saying that Narendra Modi’s leadership is essential for the country. “Narendra Modi raised India’s stature on the global map. The central government ensured that the benefits of the varous schemes reach even the last person. Modi’s government is indispensable for the country”, he had said.
