Congress leader Siddaramaiah hospitalised; to undergo surgery

BENGALURU: Congress leader and former chief minister Siddaramaiah was on Friday admitted to Manipal Hospital on Old Airport Road where he is scheduled to undergo a surgery.

Siddaramaiah was hospitalised due to dysentery and the doctors advised him to undergo surgery as he is suffering from haemorrhoids. The operation was scheduled for 11 am.

The former CM will be discharged in the evening, and the doctors have advised him to take rest for a few days post the surgery.
