HASSAN: An incident of cockroaches invading a KSRTC bus and causing annoyance to passengers has occurred in a bus belonging to the Sakaleshpur depot in Hassan district.
The non-stop bus (KA-18-F-1014) travels daily between Sakaleshpur and Bengaluru. This bus has become a dwelling place for cockroaches, with the pests crawling all over passengers travelling in the bus, and passengers are fed up with the menace of cockroaches.
Passengers have urged the driver-conductor of the bus to spray insecticide. There are also allegations that cockroaches are present in most of the buses belonging to the Sakaleshpur depot.
