The two lecturers who are being questioned in the KEA recruitment exam scam case.

KALABURAGI: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) questioned two lecturers in connection with the KEA recruitment exam scam. The arrested are Chandrakanth Burakal and Sabanna Pujari.

While Chandrakanth was chief invigilator at an exam centre in Afzalpur town, Sabanna, a PU college lecturer, was custodian at the centre. They were arrested over suspicion of their role in the question paper leak. It is suspected that the leak happened at the Royal Public School exam centre in Afzalpur where the two lecturers were posted.

Meanwhile, the kingpin in the scam, R D Patil, had called all the candidates who indulged in the FDA exam malpractice, investigation has revealed. He even asked them to send their applications on WhatsApp and would make only WhatsApp calls to avoid detection. Screenshots of his chats and calls have now gone viral.
