KALABURAGI: The Yadrami police have filed a case against a youth for posting pictures of weapons on his social media account and thereby disturbing communal harmony.
Vikas Vastari, a resident of Yadrami, has posted pictures of a pistol, sword and other weapons on his Instagram account. He had also posted a picture of himself wearing metal claws (wagh nakh) and captioned it ‘My new weapon’.
Taking cognizance of his social media posts, the police brought him to the police station and questioned him and seized his mobile phone. They also warned him not to post provocative messages on social media which may lead to social unrest.
