CHAMARAJANAGAR: The carcasses of two tigers, believed to be mother and cub, were found in a quarry in Kottalavadi village in the taluk on Thursday.
The carcasses are partly decomposed and the tigress and her cub may have died a few days ago. However, the caused of death remains unknown.
Officials of the Biligiri Ranganathaswami Temple tiger reserve visited the spot and the carcasses were sent for forensic examination.
