DAVANAGERE: A car driver assaulted a KSRTC bus driver, allegedly as the latter did not give way, near Devarahalli village in Channagiri taluk, on Friday. The identity of the attacker was not immediately known.
The bus was on its way from Baadaa to Channagiri when the occupants of the car stopped it alleging that the driver Nagaraj did not give way when they were coming from the opposite direction. One of them boarded the bus and even assaulted the driver.
Despite the passengers telling the man to desist from assaulting the driver, he continued to do so. The entire incident was captured on the mobile phone of one of the bus passengers. The incident occurred in Channagiri police limits.
