CHIKKAMAGALUR: A car which was involved in an accident suddenly caught fire when it was being towed away near Balgal close to Samse in Kalasa taluk on Tuesday night. All the occupants of the car were safe.
The car was being towed to Mangaluru and fire erupted a little distance away from the accident spot. The car had initially crashed into a pile of timber stocked by the roadside. The incident occurred in Kalasa police limits.
