HASSAN: A passenger, who was travelling by a private sleeper bus, was found dead in his sleep when it reached Channarayapatna on Tuesday morning. The deceased is T Swamy (35) hailing from Illenahalli in Pandavapura taluk of Mandya district.
The bus (GA 07 T 3303) was coming from Mumbai when the driver stopped for a break at Channarayapatna. While most of the passengers got off the bus, Swamy was found sleeping. When the conductor tried to wake him up, Swamy was motionless.
The police were immediately informed who then shifted Swamy to the government hospital where he was declared dead.
