BENGALURU : A BMTC conductor lodged a complaint against a woman passenger for obstruction of duty. The BMTC conductor Honnappa lodged the complaint against Tanzila Ismail at Siddapura police station.
The police have registered a case under IPC Section 353 and issued a notice to the woman to present herself for inquiry.
The conductor Honnappa assaulted the woman on March 26 after an argument over issuing of ticket. After Tanzila Ismail slapped the conductor, he assaulted the woman. Honnappa was later arrested by the Siddapura police and sent to jail.
The conductor was recently released on bail. The incident took place on a bus plying between Billekalli and Shivajinagar.
