CHIKKAMAGALUR: In a novel move, the district secretary of the BJP Yuva Morcha is seeking votes for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha election in place of gifts for his sister who is to get married next month.
Yuva Morcha leader Shashi’s sister Sahana is getting married on February 5 in Chikkamagalur. In the invitation cards he has got printed for the occasion, Shashi, who hails from Aldur, has appealed to guests to vote for PM Modi, instead of presenting gifts to the couple, in order to secure the future of their children.
The invite has now gone viral on social media.
