MADIKERI: A woman forest officer committed suicide by hanging at a Forest Department guest house here on Tuesday night. The deceased is Deputy Range Forest Officer Rashmi G C, who hailed from Mandya.
Rashmi had been working in Kodagu district for the last two year. On Tuesday night, she ended her life by hanging at the guest house close to the Aranya Bhavan in Madikeri, but the motive was not known.
The Madikeri Town police visited the spot and have taken up further investigation.
