KANPUR: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government believes neither in the law nor the Constitution.

“This (BJP) government neither believes in the law nor the Constitution. Let the Samajwadi Party as well as the Constitution of the country win in 2024,” the SP chief said during the ‘Samvidhan Bachao’ rally in Kanpur.

He further said that in Uttar Pradesh, if there is any land mafia, it is the BJP leaders.

“If there is any land mafia in the state, it is the leaders of the BJP. If there is anyone who is buying land in the state, it is the leaders of the BJP,” he added.

Every year, on November 26, Indian Constitution Day is celebrated. The Constituent Assembly of the country formally adopted the Constitution on this day in 1949, which came into force on January 26, 1950.

Constitution Day is also known as ‘Samvidhan Divas’ or ‘National Law Day’. (ANI)
