Bengaluru doctor, on solo trek in Himalayas, goes missing

BENGALURU: A doctor at a well-known hospital in the city, who had gone trekking alone in the Himalayas, is believed to have gone missing.

Dr Chandramohan of Manipal Hospital on Sarjapur Road and a resident of Vasanthnagar is an avid trekker. He had set out on a solo trek of the Himalayas through Nepal, but his mobile phone has been switched off since June 20.

A devotee of Lord Shiva, Dr Chandramohan used to mingle with sadhus and take part in pujas. He was also spiritually inclined. He was also keen on discovering new places and went everywhere without hiring a guide.

Based on a complaint from his family members, the High Grounds police are now trying to trace him with the help of the Nepal police.
