BENGALURU: The cashier of a well known hotel was beaten to death with a wooden log by a housekeeping staffer. The latter has since been arrested.
Subhash, the cashier at Citadel hotel in Jeevan Bima Nagar was sleeping on a sofa in the hotel when a completely drunk Abhishek attacked him with a wooden log. Subhash succumbed to his injuries.
Abhishek’s wife was also working at the same hotel and it is said that Santhosh was taking liberties with her. Abhishek had warned Santhosh on several occasions earlier.
On Wednesday night, the two argued over the same issue and Abhishek killed Santhosh. The Jeevan Bima Nagar police have arrested Abhishek and are conducting further investigations.
