Bengaluru cops use Chandrayaan-3 launch to drive home message against drug abuse

BENGALURU: Hours after the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft was put in orbit, the city police used the opportunity to convey a message against drug abuse.

In a Twitter post, the city police said, “POV: When they say ‘Aim high in life”, followed by emojis of a rocket and the Moon with a picture of the LMV rocket captioned ‘This’, and another picture of drugs rolled in a cigarette paper captioned, ‘Not This’.

In about one-and-half hours of the post, it had garnered nearly 16,000 views and over 600 likes. One Twitter user commented saying, “Admin going places”, while other replied with laughing emojis. Another Twitter user even jokingly asked, “Can I work as an intern at @BlrCityPolice?”.

The Bengaluru city police Twitter handle is known to come up with witty and quirky messages every once in a while.
