BELAGAVI: A youth was stabbed by two bike-borne men at Camp area in the city on Monday. The youth was immediately shifted to the Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences, where he is undergoing treatment.
Farhan Dharwadkar (15) was stabbed in the back by unidentified persons who were on a two-wheeler. However, the motive for the attack was not immediately known.
A huge number of relatives and others had gathered at the hospital on Monday evening, leading to a tense atmosphere. Police inspector Manjunath Hiremath then asked all those who had crowded at the hospital to vacate the premises. Deputy Commissioner of Police Sneha visited the spot.
