CHAMARAJANAGAR: A bear was suspiciously found dead in a farm at Channalinganahalli under the BRT tiger reserve on Monday.
The female bear bore injuries on its body. It was found dead on the farm belonging to Chirimalla Venkatasubbamma. On getting information from the villagers, Forest officials rushed to the spot and retrieved the carcass.
The Forest staff conducted a postmortem examination and have sent the viscera samples for forensic examination.
