BENGALURU: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah underwent a routine checkup at Manipal Hospital after experiencing pain in his left knee in the morning. He cancelled his planned visit to Chikkaballapura and Ramanagara today.

CM left the hospital after receiving treatment, led by Dr Satyanarayan. The doctors advised CM Siddaramaiah to rest for two to three days. He had an X-ray done at the hospital, which showed no fractures.
CM Siddaramaiah’s personal assistant lifted his leg to help him get into the car comfortably, as CM could not keep his leg inside his own.The doctors, who conducted the checkup, said that the pain was due to pressure on the part where he had undergone ligament surgery earlier. “Otherwise, there is no problem, and I advised him to rest at home for two days without traveling”, one of the doctors said.
The CM may have sprained his leg while boarding and getting down from the helicopter. He had a leg problem earlier.
