BENGALURU: A history-sheeter was shot in the leg by the Attibele police after he attacked a policeman when a team had gone to nab him, at Madiwala near Bandapura on Thursday morning. This is the second such incident in the police limits in the last 10 days.

Sunil faces seven cases including murder, attempt to murder and rioting. Additional SP Nagesh who visited the spot, said there was an arrest warrant against Sunil. “He faces several cases including one murder case and two cases of murder attempt. When the police team tried to arrest him, he attacked a constable and didn’t heed warnings. He was shot in the right leg and arrested”.
