BENGALURU: The busy JC Road in the heart of the city is partially closed from Thursday for one month as the BBMP is carrying out white topping work from Nala Road Junction to Town Hall Junction. The road falls under the Halasuru Gate traffic police station limits.
The white topping work on the JC road has already started and the road is partially closed for vehicular movement, leading to slow-moving traffic.The Bengaluru City Traffic Police requested the public to cooperate until the completion of the work.
Alternative roads:
Vehicles travelling from Hosur Road via JC Road towards Majestic and Bengaluru North can take a right turn near the Lalbagh main entrance and reach Hudson Junction via KH Road-Shantinagar-Richmond-R.R.M.R. Road.
Vehicles traveling towards Majestic and Bengaluru North via JC Road from South End Circle can take a left turn near Minerva Circle and reach KR Market via Lalbagh Fort Road and KR Road to reach SJP Road, Town Hall.
Parking of vehicles on JC Road is strictly prohibited to prevent congestion, the traffic police said in a statement.
